The fifth class of bachelor’s graduates in Entrepreneurship specialty and master’s graduates with specialization in Family Entrepreneurship received their diplomas at a ceremony held on December 11, 2015.

Official guests at the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Valentin Goev, Deputy Rector for Research of the University of National and World Economy, HE Mr. Temirtay Izbastin, Head of the Diplomatic Mission of Kazakhstan in Bulgaria, Eng. Iliya Keleshev, Chairman of the Bulgarian Branch Chamber of Machine Building, Ms. Anna Naydenova, Executive Director of the ICT Cluster, Prof. Dr. Mitko Dimitrov, Director of the Institute for Economic Research of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Dr. Kiril Grigorov, Governor of the Municipal Guarantee Fund for SMEs to Sofia Municipality, Mrs. Diana Parigvozdeva, representative of DSK Bank, Mr. Dimitar Penkov, Head of Business Clients Department of UniCredit Bulbank, Eng. Dimitar Kuzev, a longtime director of ZMM Haskovo, Mrs. Jeanette Popova, founder and manager of AMET GmbH, Mr. Bashar Rahal, actor and film producer, Mrs. Krasimira Shindarova, project manager of ICT Cluster, and Mr. Branimir Yordanov, president of the Club of Young and Innovative Entrepreneur.

Traditionally, guests at the ceremony were many parents, friends and relatives of the graduates, so, the Ceremonial Hall turned out to be narrow, but whose presence was a symbol of the growing popularity and importance of the Entrepreneurship specialty.

The ceremony was opened by the founder and head of the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship specialty Prof. Kiril Todorov, who described the development path of the specialty, the major problems solved and achieved success in preparing young entrepreneurs.

As an official representing the university, Prof. Valentin Goev delivered a welcoming speech in which emphasis was placed on the further development of graduates, not only as practitioners but also as scholars of significant economic and social processes and phenomena through opportunities provided by the university’s doctoral programs.

Welcome speeches were delivered and by other official guests, in which, each of the guests by position of their professional experience and capabilities of the represented organizations headed not only beautiful wishes but also valuable guidance and ideas to encourage the graduates.

Along with diplomas graduates received a symbolic gift from the Chair of Entrepreneurship – engraved pen with which to sign their first contract business.
